1. Agreement

By using RingFlip.com or submitting a quote request, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and RingFlip LLC ("RingFlip," "we," "us").

2. Our Service

RingFlip purchases used consumer electronics (including gaming PCs, phones, consoles, and VR systems) from individuals and resells them. We are not a marketplace — we are the buyer. All transactions are between you (the seller) and RingFlip LLC directly.

3. Quotes

Quotes generated through our quote engine are estimates based on the information you provide. All quotes are guaranteed for 14 calendar days from the date issued, provided the device arrives in the condition described. RingFlip reserves the right to revise or withdraw a quote if:

The device does not match the specifications submitted (different model, lower condition, missing components)
The device does not power on (if "powers on" was represented as yes)
14 days have elapsed since the quote was issued

4. Condition and Accuracy

You are responsible for accurately representing the condition and specifications of any device you submit. Misrepresentation — whether intentional or not — may result in a revised offer. If we issue a revised offer due to a condition discrepancy:

Minor discrepancy: We will email you a revised offer. You have 48 hours to accept. If you decline or do not respond, we will return the device to you at our expense.
Major discrepancy: We will make a significantly revised offer or decline entirely. If you decline the revised offer, return shipping is at your expense.

5. Fraud and Stolen Devices

You represent and warrant that you are the rightful owner of any device you sell to RingFlip, that the device is not stolen, not subject to an active financing or lease agreement, and not reported as lost or stolen to any carrier, insurer, or law enforcement agency.

If we determine a device is stolen, blacklisted, financed, activation-locked by a prior owner, or otherwise misrepresented, we will:

Withhold payment entirely
Hold the device pending investigation
Report the matter to law enforcement if appropriate

Submission of a fraudulent device may constitute criminal fraud under applicable federal and state law.

6. Shipping

RingFlip arranges and pays for all inbound shipping via corporate accounts with FedEx or UPS. You are responsible for dropping the device off at the designated carrier location in the condition and packing option you selected. Risk of loss during transit is governed by the carrier's terms of service. RingFlip is not responsible for damage caused by packing methods you chose (Option C — Ship As-Is) beyond the packing assist adjustment reflected in your quote.

7. Payment

We will pay you within 24 hours of delivery confirmation for electronic payment methods (Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, ACH). Check by mail will be sent the same business day payout is processed. Payment is contingent on device inspection confirming the represented condition and specifications. We reserve the right to revise or withhold payment if inspection reveals material discrepancies.

8. Prohibited Devices

We do not accept:

Devices reported as stolen or lost
Devices subject to active financing or lease
Activation-locked devices (phones locked to a prior owner's account)
Devices with identifying information that cannot be verified as belonging to you
Devices not listed in our active buyback categories

9. Limitation of Liability

RingFlip's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount of the quote issued for your device. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or consequential damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Erie County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to jurisdiction there.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
